I’m Running for
Reno City Council!
In October 2022, I was honored to be appointed as the Council Member for Ward 3, a vibrant and diverse community encompassing the Wells Avenue Business District, MidTown, Rosewood Nature Study Area, and a scenic portion of the Truckee River, complete with the Neil Road Recreation Center.
I’m now seeking election and hope to earn your vote!
I was born and raised in Reno.
My early life was in a mobile home park on Kietzke Lane. My family was able to fulfill the American Dream of building a better life through hard work and education. Our family’s success also comes from being a part of a community that supported us, and is my model for service.
My wife, our daughters and I are proud to call Reno our home.
Issues
These are the top issues affecting Renoites today, and are top of mind for me as your city councilman.
Economic Diversity and Small Business Empowerment
Promoting economic diversification and fostering a robust job market are essential for a thriving Reno community.
Parks, Community Centers, and Recreational Facilities
Our neighborhood parks and recreational spaces are the heart of our community, and we must improve these cherished spaces.
Affordable Housing and Smart Planning
Access to attainable housing is crucial for the well-being of our residents, particularly first-time homebuyers and renters.
Community Safety and Infrastructure Enhancement
Ensuring safe commutes to school, work, or the grocery store is a top priority, and investing in infrastructure to make our streets safer.
